Boston and Seattle

While this at one time was the tallest building in New_England, it has long since become like a stump among the taller towers. It would take several decades before Vancouver, in the BC part of Canada would allow any building to rival it.

What had become a stump in Seattle would be among the tallest buildings in Vancouver, BC right into the 21st century.

It would take until 1973 for Vancouver, BC to permit a building to rival Seattle's tallest in 1914.

Vancouver has so many imposed restrictions that it's not allowed to rival the scale of Calgary & especially Seattle.



Halifax,_Nova_Scotia was never allowed or never envisioned to become a big city like Montreal & Boston.
